I’ve got a wooden medicine cabinet that I’m stripping and refinishing. It’s got 3 glass shelves inside that are chipped so they’ll need to be replaced but i can’t figure out how best to remove them.
They seem to be glued in. They look to have been slid into place via notches cut in the sides of the cabinet (does this even make sense to anyone?)…
I can’t figure out how to get the shelves out without wrecking the wooden interior. Is there a way to dissolve the glue??
Any help would be appreciated!

Will the heat from the stove cause it to warp or catch on fire, since it is so close to the burner flame? Also can put the backsplash on the cabinet to make it blend with the rest of the kitchen? The previous owner painted the kitchen cabinet doors blue, and I don’t like the look - it’s a small kitchen and the doors are too dark. Lighter colors would help the kitchen look bigger.

This design doesnt sit well with me because the floor in my apartment is a bit uneven so its pretty obvious when this cabinet sits flush on the floor it teeters over a bit. I would like to add 4 legs to this cabinet but do not know how to “mount” it to the actual cabinet. What do I need? I tried to find a mounting plate of some sort and came up empty. Also a search for “table legs” also comes up with nothing. I would like the legs to be 6 or less inches tall. Not TOO tall just tall eenough so you cant see this cabinet rocking on my uneven floor! Any suggestions?
