My kitchen cabinet knobs were screwed on the side (like the were suppose too) but instead of the corner were screwed on in the middle. What can I do to correct this?

Fill in all the holes with spackle or wood putty and redrill. Make a cardboard template with the hole pattern, and mark with a Sharpie. Use a washer on the inside.

For the holes in on the henges for lower doors can be plugged with decoration of your choice.
The knobs are 2inches down and the henges for lower corner for upper corner away from.
