SURVEY: for real doh: Has anybody EVER had a renovation project go off without a hitch?

Cuz I’m on day 11 of a “one week” kitchen renovation, and there’s not been a single day where something hasn’t gone wrong….

…now the oven’s too big for the cabinet we ordered SPECIFICALLY for that oven….grrrrrrrr

    A friend of mine is going on a year now putting a second floor addition.
    These contractors didn’t show up for weeks at a time. He’s pretty pissed.

    No.

    My house got flooded in 2006 and we had to have all the floors, carpets, tile, vinyl, and baseboards removed, walls painted, and various other repairs done.

    A job that could have taken a week or two ended up taking nearly half a damn year.

    I haven’t owned a house to do renovations too!You are so lucky!
